About 14 hours ago Facebook has begun rolling out its News Feed redesign to users. It's not a major change in design and here's a quick side-by-side comparison on the new-vs-old design. Personally I think the new one looks much better. I think the design is neat, plus I like how the new design directs more attention to the content (center).
That's your thought in this?

Oh I read about this. I hope I get the new feed soon. Thanks for sharing.
So basically they added some grey to make the sections more noticeable?
"Putting lipstick on a pig"
I like the new design with its larger photos and more streamlined appearance. Its not a major shift, but enough to be noticed. At least, I hope they don't change the algorithm for news feeds for the umpteenth time!
Yeah, the new one is good … bigger images, more fitting, and dare I say, looks a little inspired by Google Plus
Sometimes tech people do things just to make change. The new design is relatively the same as the old design in terms of impact use. But then, i'm just a user of facebook, not one of their employees
+Cheyenne Christine Naegler Well, yes.
+FB Page Admins Forum I don't think that's a fair analogy.
I think Facebook's changes are insignificant to the reality of how it can benefit. And I represent a dozen clients who market using Facebook (They definitely don't make it easy to market for multiple clients). Facebook needs to change their marketing services structure. It's not very good. But then, G+ also has so high walls that need to be scaled.
Like the separation of posts but they muffed the text/ font line height.. it feels cramped and busy now
+Jerry Low Depends on your perspective, this is insignificant in relation to the issues with the news feed itself. Do some research on what is going on with FaceBook pages and organic reach and what page admins think about it. Hence the term "lipstick on a pig" which is extremely accurate for what is happening on the feed. If you like I can send you to a series of links to pages on the subject. This is but one

and the video on that page is indicative but at this stage there are hundreds of pages and articles on the same subject.
